99 Names is an immersive, audio-visual performance examining themes of loss, grief and connection through the Afro-Arab diaspora. Combining rituals of oral storytelling, audio-visual installation and live performance, 99 Names shares a story of the kinetic traditions that bind us. This work asks audiences to sit with the griefs of colonization and invites them to imagine how we can collectively hold, transmute and ultimately release this weight.
